Staff Appreciation
At John Stanford International School we have established an equitable giving program that shows appreciation for every staff member all throughout the year.
Over the years it's been amazingly successful with the help of our parents.
Each month has a special appreciation activity led by a parent volunteer.
Each staff member’s birthdays are also celebrated with favorite cupcakes and hand-picked gift cards.
We need your help!
Please sign up to help with Staff Appreciation by selecting an activity to lead.
The Staff Appreciation team will send you detailed instructions and reminder emails leading up to your activity date.
Staff Appreciation activities are funded by PTSA as part of the Students First Campaign. Any purchases you make as a volunteer will be reimbursed within allowable budget limits for each activity. You are welcome to “donate” whatever you purchase on behalf of the activity if you choose.

The JSIS equitable giving philosophy
We want every staff member to feel celebrated and appreciated. We also do not want any individual families to feel individually responsible to collect money or buy gifts for your teachers or staff. If you and your family would like to give a special handmade card or gift, feel free to do so. We do not discourage creativity or individual giving! We also encourage you to include non-teaching staff as well. If you are not familiar with names of staff who support your child, let us know and we can help.
