Field Day

What is field day?
Field Day is a school event focused on outside play & fun!
Students can participate in a variety of challenges, team games, races, and a few water activities.
The goal is for students to have a morning / afternoon of physical activity & fun with friends, classmates, and students from other classes they may not know!
When is field day?
This year’s Field Day will be held on Friday June 13th on the black top at JSIS.
K-2 Field Day is held in the morning, and 3-5 Field Day is held in the afternoon.
Want to Volunteer?
Volunteers help make this event a success for our students!
Due to the limited space out on the JSIS blacktop, there is no room for parent/family spectators. If you would like to see your child participate in Field Day, we ask that you volunteer to help set-up, run a station, or clean-up.
Please note: All volunteers need to be on the approved volunteer list.
Becoming an approved volunteer can take up to 2 weeks. If you have not completed the volunteer paperwork and want to volunteer at Field Day, please start your application as soon as possible.
Your volunteer paperwork is good for 2 years.
