After School Activities (ASA)

The After School Activities (ASA) program is possible thanks to a group of parents who volunteer their precious free time to organize these classes with established providers.

This is entirely parent-led and as such depends on parent participation: be it from joining the organizing committee and talking to providers, or simply walking kindergartners and 1st graders from the upper playground to the lower playground a few days each session, your help makes it possible!

Contact asa@jsisptsa.org with questions or to volunteer!

Registration

Registration for ASA programs is handled through a service called 6crickets.

There is a week-long window to register at the start of each season.

Keep you eye out for registration email reminders.

Financial Aid

ASA offers financial aid to JSIS families as follows:

  • or two partial 50% scholarships, available for each class.

The application forms will be sent via email at the beginning of each session.

All families are welcomed to apply.

How Can You Help?

ASA needs the help of volunteers at school every day! At the end of school, the Kindergarten and 1st grade kids need help getting to their ASA classes. Volunteering for this transition time takes between 10-20min and it consists of going to the K-1 classrooms with the list of kids for the day and walking with them to the lower playground where they will meet their instructors. Please consider signing up to help out!
